Study: Dreams Can Be Recalled Taking Vitamin B6 Before Sleep

Study: Dreams Can Be Recalled Taking Vitamin B6 Before Sleep

This Research Could Help Treat Nightmares And Phobias, And Also Promote Creative Skills

Dreams fade rapidly after waking up, even though studies state that we dream 4 to 6 times every night. However, researchers have found a way to recall them, by taking vitamin B6 supplements before going to sleep. Vitamin B6 is present on fish, poultry, organ meats, and fruits, among others, and has a fundamental role in metabolism, brain development, and immunity. There is no scientific evidence that explains why vitamin B6 helps to recall dreams, but the participants in the test said that they were able to recall their dreams clearly and that they did not fade away during the day. Also, Vitamin B6 did not affect the sleep quality or the vividness or color of the participant’s dreams. This research might allow better treatments in cases of nightmares and phobias, and also promoting motor skills, along with problem-solving. Click here for more details.
